Case details:

Ghostec was contacted by a couple who is having paranormal activity in their home. The better part of their activity was centered around the living room. They have seen images and hear whispery voices; they have been touched and clothing tugged. They believe it is a spirit of a little girl. Activity was so much that the couple took all the furniture out of the living room, placed it elsewhere in the home. They just decided to give the room to the girl. The couple have traced property back to some historical times and the land used to be an orchard, thought to belong to Thomas Jefferson. They say they are not really afraid but troubled by the fact they think it is a child.

The Ghostec team arrived at their home, took ambient readings and pictures in and outside the house. We set up  our equipment, took our places to remain quiet and record. We did not get anything on recording, but had some strange things happen to us and our equipment.  Two of our investigators felt their chair being nudged from the back. They were perfectly still at the time it happened. At one point, the team decided to leave the nightshot camera running and retire to the outside for a bit. We were outside speaking with the owners at this time... 20 minutes to be exact. Upon returning to the inside, the nightshot camcorder was shut off after just 5 minutes and clicked into the lock position. Just prior to it shutting off, a golf ball sized ball of light came from under the camera view and arced up and across the screen, then disappeared. The voice activated recorder that was there did not record anything. Ghostec and the owners will verify that no one entered the house.

As we were nearing the end of our investigation, we recorded one last time in the living room and snapped a few more pictures. In one of them there is an anomaly on the ceiling...appears to the team as an orb in motion. On the outside, Alice stood in one spot and snapped 13 pics quickly with her camera into the back yard area. There are 3 of those in the middle of the 13 shots that have a blue fog shaping into a face. Note: We do not look for faces in pictures, but this one was really odd. The rest of the pictures are devoid of the blue spot. When enlarged, it begins to take on facial characteristics.

We talked to the owners and encouraged them to put their living room back in order. It is okay to accept and co-exist with a ghost, but we feel a stand must be made to keep their own home. We suggested they talk to the ghost and tell her it is their home. They are disturbed to say the least, but are understanding there is no harmful intention on the part of the spirit.
