The lovely and historic hotel and restaurant Farmer’s Hope Inn was established in 1812 and breathes life of the Colonial days gone by… and it is haunted. Owners Tim and Terri Brown invited Ghostec to come to Pennsylvania to investigate.
Ghostec members Gary, Nanci and Peggy were there and investigated. They used camcorders, cameras and recorders and they also used our newly acquired DVR flashlights. Reviewing all the evidence has not been completed yet, but they did have some things happen.
Here is Gary’s report:
“Nanci, Peggy and I started the investigation on 9-14-09 at 1:30AM. I did a walk through with Tim Brown. He said there is a lot of paranormal experiences in the basement and dining room (near kitchen), so that is where I concentrated with the Sony Nightshots with attached illuminators, the Swan DVR flashlight and 2 Olympus recorders.
The main structure is over 200 years old and the basement was very cluttered and disorienting in the dark. I saw a set of stairs that led no where, just up and stopped. On my second trip to the basement, I was using a K-11 meter. At one point, the LEDs flashed erratically, so I used a pocket screw driver to activate the switch and hold it steady. The meter still flashed randomly, flashing from the red lights backwards. The recorder I had with me beeped low battery. The third trip to the basement was very disorienting and I couldn’t find the stairs that led to no where again… until I made several walk-throughs.”

Note: Gary is very good with equipment and his batteries are of great priority to him. He had full charges when he went to the basement. Something drained his batteries in that basement. It is rare, even in the darkest of places that Gary would become disoriented; I think he must have had good reason in the form of paranormal energies. More to come as the evidence is reviewed.
