When I looked at the certain little cottage type house, the whole thing becomes enveloped in a dark mist or cloud that settles over the entire house. I do not know the people there, nor is the house giving up any significance of familiarity. It has a lot of brush growth and huge trees near it. It is in a part of town I rarely go to and have no reason to suspect it as being haunted…yet I know it must be.

I dreamed about it last night and the house seemed to almost disappear into this darkness while the sun was shining brightly. Then, it would reappear and be in night tones of black and white. There has to be something to it.

I am not psychic and the only time I have any kind of a vision or facsimile is connected to my children or parents…family kind of ESP. I am confounded with this event.

Since this has happened, I feel drawn to the place. I see it as a cottage where an elderly man lives. There is something dark about him. He sits and watches the street as if he is waiting on someone or something.

I have written an email to Gary and Nanci Hall as it is sorta across the street from their business and I saw that mist coming over the little house as I left Gary and Nanci’s place. I will wait to hear from them. It is the eeriest feeling.

February 25th, 2007

I got an email from Gary telling me to lay off the booze. Then, of course, after his funny statement, he got serious and began sharing information with me about the street and it’s occupants. After we emailed a couple of times and we were clear where I had seen the cottage, I decided to drive back over there.

February 26th, 2007

I went over today to pick up a DVD from Gary and Nanci’s shop. When I arrived, I told Gary that he was really going to think I had gone nuts. The place where I had seen the little old cottage is not there…it is an empty lot up on the hill. Oh my God… I started to describe what I had seen in detail for Gary and he told me I was not crazy, that a man had lived there in a little cottage type house. I had seen it as a small brownish rough-looking, shingled type house with an old unfinished looking roof. Gary confirmed it. So now, what do I do? I have never had feelings or visions like this before. Gary suggested we walk across the street and up on the bank and look… we did and back there where I saw trees, there were huge stumps where trees had been cut down. This is blowing my mind.

Gary also told me the man who lived there was a bit eccentric and was known to come out with a gun if he thought anyone was prowling around. The place was torn down in 2001 and I have no idea where the man is now.

I will probably keep my own private notes going on this as it has really made me feel as if I had a vision and don’t know what it means, has relevance to. I am searching the web for similar experiences by other people…like myself, who possess no psychic abilities.

I have shared the story with my Ghostec Team members, my husband and my oldest son. This has made me somewhat more comfortable and the more I talk about it and question, maybe answers will surface.

I wrote to Rick Fisher, who is like a mentor to me and he identified what happened to me as Retrocognition. I am now searching for information about it and who else has had it happen.
